Robson Ranch Radio Control Club grand opening

It just goes to show that no matter your age, you never really outgrow or get too old for your toys.
“I really hope I never get too old for my toys,” said one club member as he gleefully placed a radio-controlled Baja cruiser in the dirt just north of Robson Ranch before taking it for a spin on their new track.
The Robson Ranch Radio Control Club had its grand opening and open house for residents and the public on Friday for what members call their “Field of Dreams.”
With a runway for their RC planes, an off-road track with twists, turns and jumps along with an oval track, this group of enthusiasts has a place all their own to play with all their toys, like an adult outdoor playroom.
With the help of the Robson community, they were able to get more than a half-acre of land set aside, bulldozers brought in to clear the brush and the land leveled for their hobby.
