San Tan Foothills High School first and only school in Pinal County to offer specialized diploma program

San Tan Foothills High School(PRESS RELEASE) Last week San Tan Foothills High School was notified of their acceptance into the Advanced Placement Capstone Diploma Program through the College Board. “AP Capstone™ is a College Board program that equips students with the independent research, collaborative teamwork, and communication skills that are increasingly valued by colleges. It cultivates curious, independent, and collaborative scholars and prepares them to make logical, evidence-based decisions.” (AP Capstone Website)

This program allows San Tan Foothills High School to offer an individualized and advanced diploma program for students. With its implementation, Foothills joins Poston Butte High School (S.T.E.M. Diploma) and Florence High School (International Baccalaureate Diploma) in offering advanced placement and the ability to earn college credit in high school.
