First Water Trailhead in Apache Junction and Gold Canyon growing in popularity

Superstition Area Land Trust and The City of Apache Junction built a trail on First Water Trailhead that is growing in popularity for interpretative hiking and viewing of the southwest desert. They have also re-vegetated the large “scar” that goes up the side of the Mountain. Pinal Partnership’s Open Space and Trails Committee remains committed to their mission – more of these amenities.
