United Way of Pinal County turns 35

This year United Way of Pinal County celebrates 35 years as a major community go-to problem solver.
And with three and a half decades of rallying volunteers, raising money and focusing on area needs in the rearview mirror, Executive Director Manuela Bowler said the organization is focused on the future.
“There’s a reason why the rearview mirror in your car is smaller than the windshield,” she said. “The past doesn’t define you. Your windshield is big so you can see where you are going.”
