Vote San Tan Valley’s finance report shows large in-kind donations

The fourth-quarter campaign finance report for the Vote San Tan Valley political action committee shows more spending than previous reports and a significant in-kind donations of goods and services that have allowed the political action committee to run.

The group filed a map for the incorporation of San Tan Valley with Pinal County in October and began collecting petition signatures. The group now says it has more than 50 percent of the signatures needed to get incorporation on the ballot.

Up to October, they had only received $2,500 and spent only $24.80. Jean Stockton, a member of the steering committee, previously said that the fourth-quarter report would contain the bulk of the group’s expenses, and it does.
