Water for Living Project Receives Large Contribution

Businesses, organizations and citizens continue to provide water for those in need.

The Water for Living Project has received a steady stream of donations from generous citizens and businesses. The Apache Junction Mounted Rangers delivered approximately 80 cases of water to the Apache Junction Library on July 30. With the goal of giving back to the community, the Apache Junction Mounted Rangers collected cases of water throughout July to contribute to the project. The Apache Junction Library and the Apache Junction Municipal Court assisted not only with the current donation, but with the overall coordination and implementation of the project.

Initiated by the city of Apache Junction to help people in need; the Water for Living Project is a community effort ensuring access to water this summer. For more information, please contact the city of Apache Junction’s Public Information & Marketing Communications Specialist at (480) 474 – 5080 or chalonen@ajcity.net.
