Chapados As much as she’s been involved with Maricopa, almost from day one of stepping foot in the City, it’s hard to believe sometimes that Peg Chapados has served on the Maricopa City Council less than two years.

Chapados ran for office in 2010, but was unsuccessful, perhaps getting lost in a crowded field of candidates. Undeterred, Chapados continued to remain involved in the community, serving on just about every city board and commission one could name, in addition to heading the board of her homeowners association at one point and currently heading Maricopa Seniors, Inc.
