Transit study includes City of Maricopa in survey

Valley Metro, in conjunction with the Maricopa Association of Governments, will conduct a transit study that includes Maricopa, Florence and other areas in Pinal County.
The study will evaluate the existing transit system and needs of the community to provide future transportation recommendations, according to a press release.
In addition to Maricopa and Florence, other municipalities and areas involved in the Southeast Valley Transit System Study include Apache Junction, Queen Creek, Chandler, the Gila River Indian Community, Guadalupe, Gilbert, Mesa, Tempe and other portions of Maricopa and Pinal counties.
