The Ak-Chin Indian Community wanted to make a statement with the introduction of its new Justice Center, and community officials believe the mission was accomplished.
The 56,000-square foot facility, which broke ground in December 2012, officially opened Friday. Comprised of the Community’s courts, police department and detention center, it’s a source of pride for those closely associated with the project.
