In a close race for mayoral office, candidates Vice-Mayor Joel Belloc and Steven Paulson face a tight race moving on to the general election in November. Belloc received 309 votes, and Paulson 304 votes, unofficial results showed. To win, one of the mayoral candidates needed 465 votes or more.

Contenders Belinda Akes and Gilbert Tarango are out of the race, receiving just 158 and 156 votes respectively. Belloc received 33.26 percent of the vote and Paulson 32.72 percent.
