Casa Grande police chief resigns

After less than two years on the job, Casa Grande Police Chief Johnny Cervantes has resigned.
The announcement was made Tuesday by the City Manager’s Office.
Lt. Kent Horn has been appointed acting chief while the city begins a search for an interim chief.
Horn has been employed by the Police Department for 26 years and is the highest-ranking senior officer at the department, the press release stated.
