Casa Grande water treatment plantA seven-month project to expand Arizona Water Company’s groundwater treatment facility on Henness Road is expected to begin next summer.

People aren’t likely to be disturbed by the work or even notice when it begins, said Fred Schneider, vice president of engineering for the company.

The company has operated the site on Henness Road, near Palm Creek Golf & RV Resort, since 1980. For several years, the company has used the site to remove arsenic from groundwater and bring it into compliance with standards.
