By a vote of 4-2-1, the Florence Town Council approved an agreement with Charles Montoya to end his service as Town Manager Monday night.
Mayor Tom Rankin and Vice Mayor Tara Walter cast the “no” votes, and council member Karen Wall abstained.
Montoya has been town manager for nearly 2 1/2 years. Town Clerk/ Deputy Town Manager Lisa Garcia was appointed interim manager.
