Thank You Pinal Partnership Government Relations Committee Volunteers!
On behalf of the Government Relations Committee, we would like to thank Paul Jepson, City of Maricopa, for his decade of engagement and support of the Partnership and our Committee. He has spent many hours helping us collaborate with legislators and educating us on legislation impacting the County, region, and State. We celebrated at our March Meeting with Paul and congratulate him on his new position as the City Manager for the City of Globe. We will miss him and his contribution at our monthly meetings, but still plan on staying in touch and collaborating once he settles into his new position.
We would also like to thank Steve Veitch, GOVHRUSA, for his service as the Co-Chair of the Government Relation Committee for the last 5 years. It has been a pleasure to co-chair alongside Steve, who has organized many of our programs and was a major contributor to the 5 Supervisor District Virtual Tours over the last two years. Thank you, Steve! Steve isn’t leaving our Committee, but has passed the co-chair baton to Steven Turner, City of Casa Grande. Welcome to your new role, Steven! Our Committee looks forward to your leadership and thanks you for volunteering to grab the baton!
