Hunt Highway widening enters Phase 3

Phase 3 of Hunt Highway widening, from Gary to Bella Vista roads, is set to be completed this year, along with improvements to Gantzel Road on both sides of Bella Vista.
Last of all, in a project expected to begin in May, Pinal County Public Works will reconstruct Bella Vista between Gantzel and Hunt Highway.
Celeste Pemberton, Area 2 project manager with Pinal County Public Works, said the county also will install new traffic signals at Empire Boulevard and Gantzel, and at Ironwood Drive and Chandler Heights Boulevard. Those two intersections currently are without traffic signals.
