Coolidge celebrates police dept. at banquet

The Coolidge Police Department spent time late last month recognizing some of its own for outstanding work over the past year.

CPD held its annual awards program on Saturday, May 21 at the Coolidge Florence Elks Lodge. Special guests included Mayor Jon Thompson (who spoke to the PD employees), Vice Mayor Jacqui Henry, Council Members Tatiana Murrieta and Gilbert Lopez, and Interim City Manager Rick Miller.

Tyler Gordon was named Officer of the Year.
