Eloy picCAHRA seeks 2 to serve on agency board

ELOY — Community Action Human Resources Agency is seeking two people to serve on its Board of Directors to represent the low-income sector, according to Mary Lou Rosales, executive director.

One board member is needed to represent Casa Grande and Arizona City and another to represent Maricopa and Stanfield and surrounding areas.

CAHRA, a private, nonprofit community action agency founded in 1980, has served over 70,000 households in its history. The agency’s primary purpose is to assist the limited-income and disadvantaged of Pinal County to fulfill their basic needs and encourage self-sufficiency. The agency was located in Coolidge for 20 years from 1980 to 2000 and has had its office in Eloy for the past 16 years.
