Boys and Girls Club open once again in AZ City
ARIZONA CITY — As the school year starts for the Toltec School District, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Casa Grande is bringing back their after school childcare and activities to Arizona City Elementary School for the 12th year.
This year starts with some good news, the $5,000 facility fee that the club is normally charged has been waived this year by the district in an effort to make the program more accessible to everyone.
“We’re very appreciative of the space and the partnership with the district,” said Matt Lemberg, the executive director for the club. “They’ve welcomed us with open arms.”
According to Lemberg, they are letting the first 75 kids who sign up attend the months of August and September for free.
