apache junctionTarget Marketing Class at the Apache Junction Public Library

Session Includes Instruction in Reference USA

APACHE JUNCTION — The Apache Junction Public Library is offering a one-hour session to receive an introduction to target marketing.

The class will be held twice on Tuesday, Aug. 23 — from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1 to 2 p.m. — at the library, 1177 N. Idaho Road. The class includes a tour of a premiere business tool, Reference USA, which is accessible free with a library card. The class introduces how to target an industry, geographic market, or demographic and focus on selling a product or service directly to that market.

“Reference USA is a powerful research tool that allows you to research your target market, identify clusters, find out household level details about hobbies, interests and purchase behavior,” said library consultant Paula Wilson, who will be the class instructor.

The class is intended for teenagers and adults. Students may register in the “Upcoming Events” section of the library website at ajpl.org or by calling (480) 474-8555.
