3 earn election to City Council; newcomer Snyder leads in voting

While election day was Aug. 30, it wasn’t until last weekend that all the votes were tallied.

With roughly 200 more ballots counted since the polls closed, the final results of those seeking seats on the Eloy City Council did not change.

Newcomer  Dan Snyder, came out on top with a total of 570 votes. Incumbent Micah Powell came back a little bit to close the gap with Snyder, ending the contest just three votes behind at 567 votes.
