Arizona Department of Agriculture Director Mark Killian spoke on issues important to the industry during the annual dinner of the Pinal County Farm Bureau on Aug. 23.
Tim Knavel, Pinal County economic development manager, spoke about pending projects during the dinner at The Property Conference Center. Stephanie Smallhouse, first vice president of Arizona Farm Bureau, addressed issues facing farmers and ranchers in Arizona.
Richie Kennedy was elected president of the organization, along with Vice President Mike Norris, Secretary-Treasurer Carmen Auza, Women’s Chair Diann Prechel and Young Farmer Rancher Chair Garrett Schumacher.
