Mud Run to bring the mess back to Maricopa
The Maricopa Mud Run is back for 2016 and it’s only getting bigger – and muddier.
The hills are higher, the obstacles are tougher, the water is deeper and the ziplines are longer than ever.
The popular-as-ever off-road, down-and-dirty two-mile trek through a plethora of wet, muddy and challenging obstacles will take place Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Copper Sky.
The adult heat starts at 10 a.m. and for the second year in a row, Mayor Christian Price has announced he will be running it and challenges the community to beat him. The first 50 people to beat Price will earn a “Mayor’s Achievement Coin” signifying the accomplishment.
