Skydiving business jumps right into Main Street shop in Eloy
A new business will soon be landing on Main Street hoping to capitalize on the city’s most world famous attraction: Skydive Arizona
Firebird USA is a parachute company owned by Eloy resident and German immigrant George Reuter, and now he is in the process of opening a shop in the old Chambers Drug Store building, across from Eloy Home and Auto.
“German engineering, made in Eloy, that’s what I want it to say because I am very proud of Eloy,” Reuter said.
The company already has brand recognition amongst skydivers at two other places it operates in Germany and the Czech Republic. But Reuter wanted to start operating his business close to the place he’s called home for the last six years.
