Proposed Land Use Plan

Developers are planning to shrink lot sizes and add houses to fill in the long-empty areas of a Maricopa subdivision.

Starwood Land Ventures proposed the major amendment to the existing Planned Area Development of Homestead North to reduce the width of future homes on four parcels of land near West Honeycutt and North White and Parker roads.

The lots were originally intended to be rather large, ranging anywhere from 65 feet wide to 80 feet wide. New plans now have the lots anywhere between 45 and 55 feet wide. The depth of the lots, however, will remain at 125 feet.

This means as many as 404 lots will be placed into four parcels, increasing original estimates by 113.
