Pinal’s Smith to supervise supervisors group
by Kelly Fisher | Casa Grande Dispatch
Just over a week after the general election, Pinal County Supervisor Anthony Smith still had another result to wait for.
The District 4 representative and vice chairman of the Board of Supervisors, who was locked in as supervisor in the Aug. 30 primary election without a Democratic challenger, was unanimously elected president-elect of the County Supervisors Association at a meeting Thursday.
The election promotes him from his current first vice president position.
