Former Arizona City bakery being prepped for potential buyers

Manufacturing jobs might be making their way back to Arizona City.
Recently, crews have been working on the factory on Battaglia Road that used to be home to a bakery, most recently known as Fresh Start. The intention is to make the interior of the factory look as sharp as possible, so as to maximize the attractiveness — and thus the value — to potential suitors looking to purchase the property.
The current owner of the facility, Laurin Hendrix of Gilbert-based Hendrix Properties, purchased it this past summer with the intention of fixing it up and selling it off for profit. His crew has emptied the factory of all its equipment, so it isn’t necessarily a bakery anymore, and can thus be used by manufacturers of many types.
