A local Realtor has sold the second-most-expensive home in San Tan Valley in the last decade to an East Valley buyer.

The five-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 906 W. Lenora Way sold Dec. 2 for $885,000. Realtor Amanda Pinkerton, who sold the property in less than 100 days, said it’s a good indication the local real estate market is continuing to improve.

“It’s been a long dry season for horse property to sell for what it should,” she said. The home sits on 3.42 irrigated acres in the Country Mini Farms subdivision near Ocotillo and Meridian roads.

Also noteworthy, Pinkerton said, is the property is the second-most-expensive house to be purchased with a VA loan in Pinal County in the last decade.
