The Maricopa City Council is putting on a special public meeting Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at City Hall before its regularly scheduled meeting to hear public comments concerning Global Water’s billing practices and reliability of service issues within the city of Maricopa.

City officials are inviting all local residents and customers with specific problems, questions or concerns about their Global Water utility bills or the reliability of their service to come and share their stories with Mayor Christian Price and the City Council.

City Manager Gregory Rose said the meeting stems from the Mayor and Council continuing to receive concerns from many different residents about skyrocketing utility bills and unexplainable spikes in water usage.
