The Town Council approved a development agreement for construction of a medical office building with pharmacy at 174 W. State Route 287, next to Family Dollar. The new building will expand Sun Life Family Health Center’s services in Florence.
The agreement, with SimonCRE of Scottsdale, provides for greater water pressure to the lot, 1,500 gallons per minute, for fire protection as town code requires. The estimated cost to the town is $45,000, which will be paid from the town’s water enterprise funds.
The agreement also calls for the town to waive engineering review fees (estimated at $4,840), engineering inspection fees ($2,238), water and wastewater tap fees ($3,275), and various smaller fees.
