Cavanaugh leaves PCSO prior to his 90-day deadline

Around the time of his announcement, he told PinalCentral that he would resign from his position as the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office administration commander in 90 days, pending the completion of a few projects, without stating a specific date.
He quietly cut that time short, however, instead handing in his resignation letter to Sheriff Mark Lamb on March 28 and concluding his tenure at the office April 7.
