Lamb cuts PCSO positions to deal with budget shortfall

The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office has eliminated and created several positions, reorganizing staff and responsibilities in an effort to save budget dollars.

And Sheriff Mark Lamb said more changes are coming.

Lamb said the reorganization — which was approved by the Board of Supervisors at a meeting on Wednesday morning — will come to a net savings of about $14,435. He said this is meant to reduce a budget shortfall to the general fund.
