Airport hangar fees to increase in October

Airport users can expect to pay more for hangar rentals next year.
On Monday, the Casa Grande City Council voted to adopt a fee schedule that includes a 15 percent increase in hangar rentals at the airport, despite some residents speaking out against the issue.
Bill Thomas, a Casa Grande resident who uses the airport, told the council that a 15 percent increase was “excessive” and that the city lacked justification to increase the fees. He added that serious flooding issues were a safety concern and said the city should be more cognizant of that.
