County board approves PCSO reality TV show

Supervisors approved entering into a contract with a production company to follow sheriff’s deputies, but the issue wasn’t without controversy.
The Pinal County Board of Supervisors on Wednesday passed the item 4-1, with Supervisor Pete Rios, D-Dudleyville, the lone dissenter. Rios attempted to get the supervisors to postpone voting on the issue until next week. However, Sheriff Mark Lamb said delaying the vote could put the contract in jeopardy.
Lamb also said that preproduction filming already had begun, with videographers following deputies to identify the ones who would be best on camera.
