Harrah’s begins moving casino floor as expansion continues

Crews at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino have begun the task of rolling out 1,089 slot machines from the gaming room floor to the resort’s new, 18,000-square-foot ballroom.
The ballroom will serve as a temporary home for the slot machines as the casino floor undergoes renovations and an upgrade, part of a multimillion-dollar expansion project underway at Harrah’s.
“Coordinating this move is like directing an orchestra,” said Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino Director of Marketing Mike Kintner.
