Marana town council starts the month strong

The Marana Town Council was busy earlier this month. Here’s a few highlights from the Dec. 5 meeting.
Town budget update
Marana is launching an interactive display of the town budget online, starting with the first-quarter budget results.
“It’s our goal to provide a level of interaction with the public and really, from a transparency and accountability standpoint, a way for people to dive as deep as they believe they need to to understand the transactions of the community,” said Erik Montague, Marana’s finance director, at the council meeting.
