Casa Grande planning Main Library expansion

The Main Library is set to be expanded following approval from the Casa Grande City Council.
On Tuesday, the council approved a preconstruction contract for an expansion project at the Main Library, 449 N. Drylake St. Library Manager Amber Kent told the council the preconstruction phase would allow the city to determine whether the construction would all be inside the current walls of the building or would require expansion of the building.
Adding a meeting room and some study rooms is the main goal of the expansion, said Community Services Director Steve Hardesty.
