Caywood retires from Casa Grande industrial panel after 4 decades

Four decades is a long time to be a public servant, especially as a volunteer.
But that’s about how long Tommy Caywood has served as the volunteer treasurer for Casa Grande’s Industrial Development Authority. Caywood resigned Wednesday afternoon after serving more than 38 years on the board.
It was a bittersweet moment for Caywood, 95, as well as for his fellow board members, with many of them saying they grew up knowing of Caywood and his impact on the community.
