Coolidge crime rates slides 11.9 percent in 2017

Statistics show that Coolidge became a safer place in 2017.
Burglaries were down in Coolidge by 50 percent and vehicle thefts were down 40 percent, according to the Coolidge Police Department’s annual Crime Report. Homicide is also down, falling from two incidents in 2016 to just one in 2017.
CPD officials report that overall crime rate for 2017 was almost as low as in 2014 — the year with the lowest crime rate among the 23 years of annual crime data the department has available.
