Residents given opportunity to design the future Maricopa

Planning a city is a difficult process, and that was proved certain at Maricopa’s open house public meeting and design charrette.

On Thursday, Maricopa residents were invited to city hall to discuss with developers various building opportunities, and also voice what they want the city to look like.

Kazi Haque, zoning administrator for Development Services, said the purpose of the meeting was to get a conceptual idea of what Maricopa residents want. The meeting was led by the company WRT Design from San Francisco.
