Town Hall welcomes German intern

Nikolai Zwecker is experiencing the town of Florence from more angles than most Town Hall employees ever will.
He worked for a couple of weeks alongside Town Manager Brent Billingsley and read up on the differences between Arizona local government and that of his native Germany. He also worked with Town Clerk/Deputy Town Manager Lisa Garcia to set up the Town Council agenda.
He researched the fees charged by other cities and towns in the area to see how they compare with Florence’s and worked with the Finance Department to help produce what they hope will be an award-winning budget presentation.
