County OKs controversial wedding venue near AJ

Residents of an unincorporated area in northern Pinal County are not happy with the decision to allow a proposed wedding venue in their neighborhood.
The Pinal County Board of Supervisors approved a zoning change last week from residential to commercial for the development of the Joslyn Crown Wedding & Event Venue north of Apache Junction along State Route 88, known as the Apache Trail.
The venue proved to be controversial with a long line of Apache Junction residents turning out to speak at public comment both for and against the venue.
