CUSD to investigate a potential override

The Coolidge Unified School District is debating the idea of going out for a budget override in this year’s election cycle.
At last week’s Governing Board meeting, members of the board discussed the possibility of holding a study session to look into the matter of calling for a budget override in November 2018.
“There’s some areas where we think (an override) may be needed, including staff salaries,” Superintendent Charie Wallace told the board.
