New homes come to Coolidge

With the housing market slowly making a comeback, Coolidge is starting to experience some long awaited growth.
The rise in building permits comes after a period of time with very few to almost no permits, Development Services Director Gilbert Lopez said.
For fiscal year 2017-18, 11 new homes were permitted, which includes one home that was built using federal dollars the city gets to restore homes. Eight of those properties are brand new developments.
