Council Member Galindo running for Eloy mayor

City Council member Joanne Galindo officially announced her candidacy Tuesday to run for mayor of Eloy.
Galindo has served on the City Council for the last four years; she was also on the Eloy Municipal Airport Board and the Building Code Board of Appeals.
Along with that, she is involved in many community groups, including Eloy Lions Club, Corazon De Latinos Unidos Committee (Eloy Fiestas Patrias), Tip Over the Shelves 5K Committee, the Juvenile Justice Victims Impact Panel, Eloy Community Action Team, Community Outreach of Robson Ranch and Latino Familia Initiative.
