Groups funded by city asked to explain their spending

Over the last two weeks the Eloy City Council has been working alongside Finance Director Brian Wright to get the 2018-19 tentative budget set.

During an April 30 meeting the council asked eight different entities to explain why and where the money they are requesting will be used.

These eight entities include:

  • Corazon De Latinos Unidos (Fiestas Patrias)
  • Eloy Division for Self and Community Improvement (Martin Luther King Day celebration)
  • Eloy Chamber of Commerce
  • Pinal Alliance
  • Eloy Veterans Center (Hometown Hero Veteran banners)
  • Tip Over the Shelves 5K
  • Sunland Visitor’s Center
  • Santa Cruz Valley Union High School
