Coolidge makes zoning changes for ag land, marijuana sites

The City Council has approved several zoning changes recommended by the planning commission.
The first item allows for the placement of manufactured homes on agricultural land, a change that comes from common knowledge that farmers often bring these homes in to house employees.
In the past, citizens have been turned down when requesting these homes “without any compelling reason as to why this restriction is in place,” according to the Planning and Zoning report.
