Dunkin’ Donuts open for business in Maricopa

Do not glaze over this one.
One by one, the holes in the new Edison Pointe Shopping Center on the northeast corner of State Route 347 and Edison Road are being filled. The newest occupant, Dunkin’ Donuts, celebrated its grand opening on Friday with the official ribbon cutting and a lot of celebration. Dozens of local residents and officials from Dunkin’ Donuts’ Massachusetts-based corporate office were on hand for the event.
Maricopa Mayor Christian Price, along with members of the city council, local radio stations and the Maricopa High School band, were on hand to give the newest business at Edison Pointe a rousing beginning.
