Water issues motivated Myers to run for legislature

Nick Myers
Nick Myers got into politics for a very simple reason- his neighborhood in the San Tan Valley didn’t have water.
Fighting and winning a bureaucratic battle in the Arizona Corporation Committee against Johnson Utilities gave Myers a taste for politics and left him with an appetite for more. Now, Myers is running for the state House of Representatives in Legislative District 12
Myers was living in a Wildcat development known as Bonanza Highlands. Johnson utilities had agreed to build outline extensions to a group of homes, but then backed out, leaving residents like Myers dependent on a standpipe and water haulers. Myers go into the business and began hauling water himself.
