Councilmember up for re-election seeks one-on-one time with community

Public service is all about listening to others and aiding them to understand the tough concepts. At least, that’s the stance that councilwoman Tatiana Murrieta takes.

Murrieta is up for re-election in the upcoming city council contest, with primaries to be held on Aug. 28. She is one of six individuals running for three seats on the council this year.

Over the past 23 years, Murrieta has worked in corrections, currently holding the position of quality assurance manager at CoreCivic in Eloy.
