Florence candidate wants to see pride in town restored

Town Council candidate Michelle Cordes said Florence needs to do more than just restore prosperity to the historic downtown, but “we need to restore pride in our town.”
This includes “getting people excited to love where they live, excited to have friends and family come visit and experience our great little piece of Arizona. We are rich in history and significance to this state. People are drawn by that history and we need to capitalize on it.
A Realtor and business owner, “future home buyers want a place that is safe, thriving and lasting,” Cordes said. “They want to know that when they purchase their home the values will be solid. That the safety of their family is a priority and that we are welcoming to families of all types.
